Surgical results for non-small cell lung cancer stage I-II at Viet Duc friendship hospital

Abstract

 


 The study described 105 patients diagnosed with preoprative NSCLC stage I-II and surgery at Viet Duc Hospital from 2015 to 2016: mean age was 59,4±10,9, male/female=1,62. Tumor of upper lobes was popular, mainly T1b (29,5%), T2a (35.2%). Stage I (73,3%). Total coelioscopy and assisted-video thoracic surgery (VATS) was 28,6%, thoracotomy was 71,4%. Operative time was 171,6±21,12min, pleural drainage 8,0±3,8 days, hospitalization 19,85±5,72days. Complications was 8,6%, atelectasis 2,9%, death was 0%. 81,9% epithelial carcinoma. Lung lobectomy, curation of lymph nodes is the best treatment for patients with stage I-II NSCLC who have been routinely performed at Viet Duc Hospital with good results, low complication rate, short hospital stay. 1
