Abstract
Patients underwent pulmonary valve sparing procedures had a Z-score of Pulmonary valve -1.9 compare with -2.7 of group had a pulmonary transannular patch. Diameter of pulmonary annulus of group valve sparing procedures is larger (13.3 and 11.9 p=0.01). Annulus Z-Score lower than -3 is significant marker to preserve pulmonary annulus. A pulmonary valve-sparing approach to the complete repair of Tetralogy of Fallot was applied successfully in 67.9% of patients. Significant markers for success were a measured pulmonary annulus z-score of -3 or larger with probability of 0.76 and RR ratio 1.96.
