Early result of video assited thoracic surgery lobectomy in non small cell lung cancer at National Lung Hospital

Abstract
160 patients underwent VATS lobectomy at National Lung Hospital, from June 2015 to March 2018. 146 patients was performed c-VATS, 14 patients was performed a-VATS, because of bleeding, large mediastinal lympho nodes, large tumour. The mean of age is 58,4 years (range 34-80 years), male/female = 92/68. Before sugery, all of patients had results of lung function, high resolution computed tomography, pathology by biopsy, magnetic resonance imaging of brain. 150 patients had PET-CT and 15 patients had scintigraphy. Before sugery, 54 cases of lung cancer stage IA, 52 cases of stage IB, 15 cases of stage IIA, 20 cases of stage IIB, 19 cases of stage IIIA. After sugery, 51 cases of lung cancer stage IA, 58 cases of stage IB. 15 cases of stage IIA, 19 cases of stage IIB, 17 cases of stage IIIA. The mean durations of operative time 161.36 (90-270 min), intraoperative blood loss 94,05 (50 - 700ml), the mean durations of chest drainage: 4.27 (1-9 days); the mean postoperative hospitalization 5.5 (3-11 days). 09 cases had bleeding in surgery and changed to a- VATS. Postsurgery, patients were treatmented chemotherapy following NCCN guideline.
