KẾT QUẢ ĐIỀU TRỊ BỆNH LÝ SUY GIÃN TĨNH MẠCH NÔNG CHI DƯỚI BẰNG PHẪU THUẬT STRIPPING KẾT HỢP MULLER

Abstract

A cross-sectional study on 52 patients with varicose veins undergoing stripping surgery combined with Muller’s procedure at Hue central hospital and Hue university hospitalfrom March 2018 to July 2019.  There were 52 patients, aged 58.2 ± 13.1 years-old, male/female ratio was 1/2.25.  A total of 85 legs were operated, including 40 right legs and 45 left legs. The main clinical symptoms were prominent varicose veins (100%); severe discomfort (82.7%). Clinical stage according to CEAP level 2 and level 3 were 37.6 and 30.5%, respectively. The average size of the great saphenous vein of the left and right legs were 8.9±3.3mm and 9.1 ± 2.9mm, respectively. No major complications or deaths were noted. At 1 month after surgery, the results remained excellent in 80%, good in 1.2% and satisfactory in 18.8% of legs.  At 6 months after surgery, the results were excellent in 87.5%, good in 3.6%, and satisfactory in 8.9% of legs.
