Abstract

Overview: Mediastinal dumbbell tumor is a rare case, 10% ofposterior mediastinal tumors will develop into mediastinal dumbbell tumors.Totallyt tumorectomy is difficult, need to combined multiple teams: neurosurgery and thoracic surgery.Clinical signs arepoor, diagnosis is mainly based on computerized tomography and chest MR Imaging scan. Clinical case: 43-years-old male patient, detected dumbbell tumors by computerized tomography and chest MR Imaging scan. We have removed the thoracic tumor by endoscopy in combination with paravertebralincision.
