The treatment results of pectus excavatum by modified nuss procedure at Viet Duc Hospital

Abstract
All patients with PE who underwent PE repair with the modified NUSS procedure between january 2015 and august 2017 were retrospectively identified. Research methods : restrospective and transcriptional description. Results: 197 patients had been repaired by modified NUSS with a median age of 14,95 ± 3,09, male 85,28%, female 14,72%, median of Haller index was 3,87 ± 1,31. One bar was placed in most patients with 96,45%, two bar was 3,54%. Mean operation time was 38,56 ± 17,24 minutes ,the median postoperative stay was 4,89± 1,43 days. Complication : we had 12 Case, pneumothorax, hemothorax included allergy, displacement, and no death. The modified NUSS procedure with left dissection to treatment PE is effective, safetive and has a good result.
