Abstract

Was to determine fesability, safety and effectiveness of venous stent placement in patients with iliac venous obstruction. Cases serie contain 3 patients of residual iliac venous obstruction following CDT for treatment of iliofemoral venous thrombosis and 3 patients of chronic iliofemoral venous obstruction under endovenous iliac stenting. All of 6 operation were successful technically and all the patients were discharged with good results, without perioperative complication. After 3 months follow up, iliac stent patency in Doppler were showing in 5 cases. Theses 5 cases improved alot clinically, no more leg swelling. 1 case with leg ulcer was healed. 1 case of iliac stent occlusion treated with anticoagulation was neither better or worse clinically.
